Sarah and her husband Stu Henderson have been active members of the Heights since 2013. Their sons Angus and Noah started in the Heights Tykes program and are now part of the U14 and U16 racing programs.

Introducing Amy Raven, a member of the Heights Ski and Country Club for nearly a decade. Her journey with the club began nine years ago when her youngest child was 13 months old. Since then, she and her family have wholeheartedly embraced the club’s warm, inclusive community.

The Savolaine’s joined the Heights as they loved the days when the boys were racing here – the atmosphere, the community and the skiing.

Brian and his family (wife Mary-Frances and 3 boys) have been members at the Heights since 2016 and Brian joined the Heights board in 2021. Brian and Mary-Frances enjoys spending time on the slopes, cheering their boys on at competitions and spending quality family time outdoors.
In his work life, Brian is a Senior Vice-President, Portfolio Manager and Head of Investment Advisory at CI Global Asset Management where he helps to management client portfolios and leads a team of institutional Portfolio Managers to address client needs. Prior to joining CI, Brian held numerous roles in the investment industry including Managing Partner and Portfolio Manager at a Toronto hedge fund, as well as various leadership positions in Equity Sales, Private Equity and Investment Banking. Brian holds an HBA and an MBA from the Ivey Business School at the University of Western Ontario and is a Chartered Financial Analyst. Outside of work, he is passionate about his kid’s sports, golf, reading and living a healthy lifestyle.

Ally and his wife Pam have been active members of the Club since 2020/2021. Their son Dillon and daughter Siena have been active participants of the racing program in the U10 and U12 divisions respectively.
Ally joined the Board in 2021/2022 as Treasurer and became President during the 2022/2023 season.

Currently, Sarah is Vice President of Government and Regulatory Affairs for Hydrostor, an Ontario based long duration energy storage company focused on enabling decarbonization and the energy transition. Sarah is also the Vice Chair of a Health Regulatory Board and serves on the Investigation and Complaints Committee. Over the past decade Sarah’s career has focused on governance, regulation and the public interest, with a focus on ensuring the creation of value whether that be to the shareholder, health professionals, or the public. These themes translate well to serving on the volunteer Board of the Heights – ensuring value of the ski club for the members, while focused on the goal of leaving the organization stronger than it is today. Sarah is a keen volunteer who believes in giving back to the communities her family is a part of and cannot imagine a better place to devote her time.

Cristina has been a member of The Heights for 8 years, and has two kids that have gone through the rec and racing programs, including one that is now instructing. Professionally, she has over two decades in Recruiting and HR consulting with organizations such as KPMG, CIBC, MLSE and Disney Studios, specializing in executive and professional recruitment, retention, development and engagement. She has been volunteering for many years for the non-profit organizations AIESEC and Out of the Cold.

As an experienced Sr. Leader in the Hospitality and Multifamily / Multi Residential Industry, she has consistently exhibited a deep understanding of Sales, Marketing and Revenue Management to drive business success. Her unwavering commitment to delivering exceptional customer service has earned her a well-deserved reputation for client satisfaction and trust.
Excitingly, Amy is now poised to contribute her fresh perspective and innovative ideas to help The Heights Ski and Country Club navigate the ever-evolving landscape and retain its position as a premiere destination for ski enthusiasts. Her unique blend of personal and professional experience promises to be a valuable asset to the club’s future endeavours.

I’m grateful to have the ability to be a part of the Heights Ski & Country Club’s board, joining in March 2021. My family joined the Heights of Horseshoe in 1989, and I’ve valued the opportunity to grow up at the Heights and have benefited from the family culture and community. I advanced through the race programs from Training Squad through to our Hershey Program and then began to coach for the club. After post secondary, I returned to the club in a volunteer capacity as part of Race Crew in 2013, and I remain an original member of the Heights Flying Squirrels today. In 2020, I joined the club as an equity member with my wife Stephanie and 3 kids (Charlie, Victoria, and Winnie). We currently live locally in Midhurst, ON.
I have worked in the financial service industry for 15yrs and currently hold the position of District Vice President for ON North. In my role I’m responsible for providing strategic, operational, and tactical direction, as well as leadership and oversight to the ON North District. My primary focus is on retail and small business branch teams, where I provide guidance, mentorship, and coaching to allow for accountability across the branch network.

Sarah and her husband Stu Henderson have been active members of the Heights since 2013. Their sons Angus and Noah started in the Heights Tykes program and are now part of the U14 and U16 racing programs. When not cheering for the kids at their races, Sarah and Stu are often found on the slopes or out enjoying the cross country trails.
In her work life, Sarah is corporate Legal Counsel at the University of Toronto. Prior to joining the University, Sarah served as the Interim Vice-President, Chief Legal and Risk Officer of the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health (CAMH), and prior to taking that interim role, she was the Director, Corporate Legal Services at CAMH. In those roles Sarah provided legal advice on clinical, strategic and policy issues and corporate operations to support hospital leadership and internal business and clinical departments with assessing risk and ensuring legal compliance across CAMH. Sarah worked closely with the CAMH Board Governance Committee with respect to corporate governance, administrative by-laws and associated legislative compliance. Sarah has served as a Director and Secretary on the Board of the Whitney Child Care Centre. Sarah began her legal career as an associate in the Business Law Group at Miller Thomson LLP prior to joining CAMH in 2012.
